Detroit

Detroit. What can I say about Detroit except that it was about the most thrilling place I have been. Cold, weird, dark, dying and yet so alive. As the buildings crumble like some kind of apocalypse nature returns and hope for the planet, if not humanity can be seen. I was led around the city by a guide who knew all about how to get in to the buildings I wanted to see and how to protect them from further destruction. It was genuinely like being on an alien planet or rather our planet at some indeterminate point in the future.
