A major problems facing the photographer using a higher end digital SLR camera is the fact that the SLR makes fewer choices for you which tends to lead to images which, on first viewing, appear to lack quality in terms of exposure. But when worked on the images tend to end up better (and more flexible) than those produced by cheaper cameras which make all those decisions for you. Unfortunately this can lead to clients, upon seeing the images for the first time, assuming that the exposure may not be all that it could be and so they good images may be discarded based on this judgement.
